Hotels

From the time we arrived in Kolkata, our hotels have been getting better and better. When I saw the hotel in Paro (our last stop for the trip), suddenly YMCA in Kolkata sprang to my mind, and I thought, ‘Wao, what a contrast, what a treat – the best has been saved for last!’

The hotel (completed only in 2008), located in the midst of farmland with mountain view at all angles, has only eight rooms. And so with the ten of us, plus our group leader and the crew, we had the whole hotel to ourselves!

We had three-night stay in the hotel. If only I could stay longer… yes, IF ONLY…
